We find ourselves putting a lot of things on hold during these challenging times, as the world grapples with important and necessary issues.
While our focus here at Ashland Creek Press is environmental literature, we are deeply concerned with issues of social justice as well. As the books we publish often reveal, we are all connected as fellow beings on this planet — and now more than ever, we have to stand together for justice and peace.
Though our Ashland Creek Press Foundation was founded years ago to support animal and environmental organizations, we have made individual contributions to the Southern Poverty Law Center, The NAACP’s Legal Defense Fund, and Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights Camp to help support ongoing efforts toward equal rights, equal justice, and equal opportunity.
